Enlightenment-

After over a month of meandering through a vast underworld of blogs, when many of the general online populace has never even heard of blog before; After tracing through the intricacies of the lives that people choose to share with those they don't know; After reading people's thoughts ranging from "What I did every minute of yesterday" to profound and/or introspective writings on why we act as we do... I've decided to finally open my own blog.

To tell the truth, I really expect to be the only person reading this. What I intend to fill it with is unknown, but the vague plan is just to record both mundane and hopefully interesting details on my upcoming round-world backpacking trip. Call me self centred, but this is purely for my own journaling purposes. Whether anyone else likes it or not - I don't really care. =)

And so, hesitantly, I open a curiously shaped door, peer in, and enter the world of blog....
